V-Mailer works very well and is relatively easy to use. It would help users if a specimen txt message could be included to give newer users an idea on how to do headers, It would only take 10 minutes!

Useful little program, but lacks (as far as I can tell) ability to specify subject line or in-line message body. Headers also look incomplete. Another program that I tried, bmail, doesn't have these shortcomings, but has no support for SMTP authentication. So, until I find something combining the virtues of both, VMailer is a keeper.

Nice little program
It does exactly what I needed: Send a mail over a SMTP-Server with authentification. Hint: The format of a mail header is explained in wikipedia ("email"), you need it to build the file which is to be sent.
